☺ Our 50th Anniversary trip to Greece.☺
We are preparing for our trip to Greece, October 5 to 20, as a celebration of or 50th wedding anniversary back on July 28. We decided on this date because of cooler temperatures, fewer tourists and lower prices.
We have had some concerns about wildfires in Greece but have been assured by our travel company, Collette , that the areas that we are visiting have not been affected. We shall see.
Below is a map of the journey that awaits us and a brief itinerary. I hope that I will be able to document our journey with comments and pictures on a daily basis.
Day 1: Overnight Flight
Day 2 , 3 & 4: Athens, Greece
Day 5: Kalambaka - Delphi - Arachova
Day 6: Arachova - Olympia
Day 7: Olympia
Day 8: Olympia - Nafplio
Day 9: Nafplio
Day 10: Nafplio - Athens - Mykonos - Chora
Day 11: Mykonos
Day 12: Mykonos - Santorini - Oia
Day 13: Santorini - Akrotiri - Wine Tasting
Day 14: Santorini
Day 15: Santorini - Athens , flight back home.
